We founded MyCal to help manage the never-ending questions: What do you want to be? What pathway are you choosing in 10th grade? Where are you applying to college? What are you going to study???? AHHHHhhhh!!!!
WHY IS THIS SO HARD??? THERE'S GOT TO BE A BETTER WAY!!!
These questions can be so overwhelming and we have discovered that with all our advances in technology, over the last few generations, we are basically no better off than our parents were coming out of high school or college!
DO WE HAVE TO SETTLE FOR THAT???
NO! NO! NO!
We plan to revolutionize this process and create a one-stop-shop for students to easily access information on career options.
Through building this website I, Harrison discovered the UCI business internship called FLI and took a 6-week survey course on business and I was hooked so I am applying to business schools and hunting internships.
I, Atticus on the other hand, have a lot of interest in a lot of different things. Nothing has really felt right just yet. I could just do what my brother or my parents do... or...
Perhaps I could find a way to learn MORE!
Learn more on different career options before I have to make one of the biggest, potentially most expensive decisions of my life!
But the process is pretty overwhelming!
So we started a MyCal club at school working with counseling department and other strategic partners like administration, alumni, parents etc.
We are inviting experts in industries he might find interesting and inviting them to talk at our school;.

We think that there should be much more education around preparing students to make these decisions!
